It's Wordless Wednesday...

What are you excited to implement into your classroom next school year?

  1. I don't know if I'm excited or not, but we are getting a new reading series, Wonders, and I'm interested to see if it has anything that I might want to incoroporate into my reading block. I've heard rumor that using it will be mandatory and that does not make me happy. We shall see. :)

  2. I am totally reorganizing my Daily 3. Some things worked really well this year, but I definitely need to implement some changes. Our district gave us a lot of new resources to match the Common Core for ELA. I am excited to go organize these materials so they will be ready to implement next year.

  3. I am reading the Daily 5 book and I can't wait to get to the part about Daily Math. I tried all year without success to get something like it going.

  4. I am going to try using notebooks in some way in my STEM lab classes. I tried last year but was not happy. This year we are going to start from Day 1 with a plan and spend a lot of time learning how to set up pages and cut and glue and take notes!

  6. I am not sure if I am excited yet but we are also getting a new ELA textbook called SpringBoard (written by the College Board). We have used previous versions along with our Lit. books but now our Lit. books are gone. I'll be taking the new textbook training later this month so we shall see....
